SUMMARY
The Useful Life option in version 3.0 of Microsoft Mail for PC Networks is
the amount of time a mail message will be held at a postoffice before being
sent back to the originator if delivery could not be completed. The default
for this option in version 3.0 of Microsoft Mail for MS-DOS and version 3.0
of Microsoft Mail for Windows is 24 hours.
MORE INFORMATIONIn version 2.1 of Mail for PC Networks, all clients had the ability to change the Useful Life setting. However, in version 3.0, the Windows client cannot set per message transport specific options. Additional query words: 3.00
