SYMPTOMS

When using SNMP and HPOpenView to monitor the performance counters on a Windows Media Server, you get an error even though the MIB file seems to be created successfully. When you attempt to query any of the counters, the following error message appears:

No value returned for query.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows Media Services version 4.0.
