SYMPTOMSThe server-side log C-totalclients field has a value of "2" even when only one Windows Media Player is playing an ASX file. CAUSEClients playing an ASX play list appear on the server as two connections, because the Windows Media Player pre-loads the next file in the play list before the current file is done playing. When the log file is written, it reports that one client has two files open, which is correct. This behavior is by design. MORE INFORMATION
There is a field in the server-side log named "C-totalclients," which is "Clients connected to the server (but not necessarily receiving streams)." It is expected that this field should have a value of "1" because there is only one Media Player open.
