Novice: Requires knowledge of the user interface on single-user computers. This article applies to a Microsoft Access database (.mdb) and a Microsoft Access project (.adp). SYMPTOMSWhen you add a control to a data access page or set the ControlSource property of a control on a data access page, you may receive the following error message: The control remains in the caption or navigation section; however, the control will not contain any data in Page view. The value that you set in the ControlSource property does not remain after you click OK to the error message. CAUSEYou tried one of the following in a caption or navigation section of a page: You tried to add a bound control. RESOLUTIONDelete the control from the caption or navigation section.
