Novice: Requires knowledge of the user interface on single-user computers. This article applies only to a Microsoft Access database (.mdb). SYMPTOMSWhen you type the letter "y" or "n" into a field, you may receive the following error message:
CAUSEYou are not typing the entire word into a Yes/No Boolean field, a True/ False field, or an On/Off field. RESOLUTION
Type the entire word "yes" or "no" instead of just the abbreviation "y" or "n" in a field defined with a Yes/No data type. The capitalization does not
matter.
