Novice: Requires knowledge of the user interface on single-user computers. This article applies to a Microsoft Access database (.mdb) and a Microsoft Access project (.adp). SYMPTOMSWhen you scroll through records in the main form, the subform is not updated. The records on the main form and the subform are not synchronized. CAUSEThe subform is not linked to the main form. RESOLUTIONYou should use the LinkMasterFields and LinkChildFields subform control properties to link the main form and subform automatically. You can manually update the subform by pressing the F9 (recalculate) key. MORE INFORMATION
Recalculation occurs automatically for controls that reference other
fields on the same form or fields in subforms. Recalculation does not
occur automatically for subform controls that only reference fields on the
