Novice: Requires knowledge of the user interface on single-user computers. This article applies to a Microsoft Access database (.mdb) and a Microsoft Access project (.adp). SYMPTOMSChanges to the last field that you edit on a data access page may be lost when you close the page. You do not get a prompt to save this change or a warning that the change will be lost. CAUSEYou changed the value in a field, and then closed the page without moving out of that field or saving the record. RESOLUTIONBefore you close a page, make sure that you either move the pointer out of the last field that you change or that you save the record.
