SYMPTOMS

On a data access page, you are unable to vertically resize a drop-down list box.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.

MORE INFORMATION

Steps to Reproduce Behavior

  1. Create a new Microsoft Access database or Microsoft Access project.

  2. In the Database window, click Pages under Objects, and then click New.

  3. Click Design view, do not select a table, query, or view, and then click OK.

  4. Add a Dropdown List control to the page.

  5. With the sizing handle, try to vertically resize the control.

Note that, although the marquee moves with the sizing handle, the drop-down list box does not adopt the new size when you release the sizing handle.
