SYMPTOMSAfter you install the Microsoft Data Engine (MSDE) on a computer running Microsoft Access 2000, you are unable to use the following menu commands in a Microsoft Access project:

CAUSEAfter you install the MSDE, you are not prompted to restart Windows, even though restarting Windows is required to complete the installation. RESOLUTIONRestart your computer.
