SUMMARYWhen you try to upsize an MDE to SQL Server or the Microsoft Data Engine (MSDE) and select the "Create a new Access client/server application" option, you may receive the error message:

When you save a Microsoft Access database as an MDE, all modules and code within the database are compiled and removed. Your Visual Basic for Applications code will continue to run, but you can't view it or edit it. REFERENCESFor more information about the MDE, click Microsoft Access Help on the
