In Microsoft Excel versions 4.x and earlier, although you can use ALT+ENTER to create a linefeed character in worksheet cells, this key combination does not work in input boxes created with the INPUT() function. To enter multiple lines of information into an input box:
Note that in order for the information to appear in a cell in a multiple- line format, you must apply the Wrap Text alignment feature to the cell.
