SUMMARYIn the versions of Microsoft excel listed above, when you run the Setup program, and the sCountry setting in the [intl] section of your WIN.INI file is Australia, the British English spelling dictionary is automatically installed. MORE INFORMATIONWhen you run the Microsoft Excel version 4.0 Setup program, and the sCountry setting in the [intl] section of your WIN.INI file is Australia, a dialog box with the following message appears:
You can choose either the American English button or the British
English button. If you choose American English, the file MSSP_AM.LEX
is installed. If you choose British English, the file MSSP_BR.LEX is
installed.However, when you run the Microsoft Excel version 5.0 Setup program, and the country setting is Australia, you do not receive a dialog box asking which dictionary language version you want to install. Instead, the British English dictionary file, MSSP_BR.LEX is automatically installed. The following table summarizes the language version of the dictionary that is installed when you run the Microsoft Excel Setup program:
To change the Country setting in the [intl] section of the WIN.INI
file, do the following:
Speller=Spelling 2057,0 If the American English spelling file, MSSP_AM.LEX, is installed, the following entry is added to the [Spell Checker] section of the .INI file: Speller=Spelling 1033,0 Additional query words: 4.00 4.00a
