SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel, if you create an Edit Box that is multiple lines of text in height, when you display the dialog box and click in it, the cursor in the Edit Box is the height of the Edit Box instead of the height of a single line of text. CAUSE
Normally, when you click in an Edit Box in a custom dialog box, the cursor
that appears is the height of a single line of text. However, when you run
a custom dialog box and you click in an Edit box, the cursor that appears
is the height of the Edit Box. This behavior occurs if you haven't selected
the Multiline Edit option for that Edit Box. WORKAROUND
To enter multiple lines of text in an Edit Box in a custom dialog box, and
to avoid having a tall cursor when you click in the Edit Box, do the
following:
