SYMPTOMSUsing xlfSetName or xlcDeleteName to remove a custom function that was registered in a XLL does not work. Currently there is no way to remove a custom function registerd in a XLL from the Function Wizard dialog box. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available. MORE INFORMATIONThe Generic example that is shipped with the Microsoft Excel Developer's Kit demonstrates this problem. It attempts to use xlfSetName to remove the custom functions.
