The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel, when you print a worksheet with the gridlines print option selected under Microsoft Windows NT, the border around the printed area may not appear on the printout. CAUSE
This behavior occurs if you have changed the Window Text color in Microsoft
Windows to a color other than the default, such as white. When you do this,
if you print a worksheet in Microsoft Excel with the Gridlines print option
selected, the cell gridlines are printed as expected; however, the border
around the entire print area is not printed.
WORKAROUNDSTo work around this behavior, use any of the following methods:Method 1: In Microsoft Windows NT, change the Window Text color option back to the default by using the Control Panel, Colors icon.Method 2: In Microsoft Excel, print your worksheet using the Black And White print option. To do this, do the following:The worksheet is now printed with the expected gridlines and the border around the print area. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
