  • Microsoft Excel for Windows 95, version 7.0

SYMPTOMS

If you use uppercase labels mixed with lowercase labels in a GeoData column of map data, data related to the items in uppercase letters may not be drawn on the map. This problem will also affect data in the cells directly above the capitalized labels.

The GeoData column usually contains the names of states or countries, or other types of geographical information.

RESOLUTION

To avoid this problem, use either of the following methods:

Method 1:

Place uppercase column headings at the beginning of the data columns with lowercase headings.

Method 2:

Use the same case for all labels in the GeoData column.
