XL: Can't Print Background Graphic Included on Worksheet

SYMPTOMS

When you print a sheet that contains a background graphic, the graphic is not printed. The background graphic will also not be displayed in Print Preview.

STATUS

This behavior is by design in Microsoft Excel. Background graphics cannot be printed in Microsoft Excel.

MORE INFORMATION

To add a graphic to the background of an Excel worksheet, on the Format menu, click Sheet and then click Background. Select the bitmap you want to appear as the sheet background, and click OK.
