SYMPTOMSWhen Windows 95 is set up to suppress filename extensions (that is, the "Hide MS-DOS File Extensions For File Types That Are Registered" check box is selected), files that are saved with the same name but with different filename extensions may appear to be duplicate filenames in the Recently Used area on the File menu. WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, use the following steps to clear the "Hide MS-
DOS File Extensions For File Types That Are Registered" check box:
