SUMMARYWhen you create a Microsoft Access form with a Microsoft Excel table, the #NUM! error value may be displayed in some fields on the Microsoft Access form. MORE INFORMATIONWhen you create a data entry form by using the Microsoft Access form option on the Data menu in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access sets the data type by referring to the first record in the table; any invalid data type will return a #NUM! error value. RESOLUTION
Before you create the form, you must change the first record in the data
form to a Text entry. Microsoft Access then treats the field as text and
allows both text and numeric entries.
