SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel, when you use the Function Wizard, a custom function may appear in a category that is different from the category assigned to that custom function. This problem will occur only if you have assigned a function to a category that you created. CAUSE
The built-in categories appear at the beginning of the category list in the
Function Wizard. The order for these built-in categories does not change;
instead, the custom categories are added to the end of the category list.
WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, assign the function to one of the built-in categories since the order for these categories will not change.
