SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel, when you delete a worksheet containing a defined name that is shared with another workbook, all the defined names in the source workbook may be deleted after the dependent workbook tries to update the links. CAUSEThis problem occurs when a dependent document has links to non-existent sheets in a source file and the dependent document also contains chart objects.
