SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Excel, when you enter text in a cell, if the default currency
symbol under the International Settings in the Control Panel is set to a
space character, Microsoft Excel may stop responding (hang).
RESOLUTION
To correct this problem, change the Currency Symbol setting in the Control
Panel to a character other than a space character.
