In Microsoft Excel version 7.0, when you call a function that exists in a
Dynamic Link Library (.dll) file, the speed at which Microsoft Excel 7.0
recalculates data is slower than it is in Microsoft Excel 5.0.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
