SYMPTOMSWhen you try to generate a Report with the Microsoft Small Business Financial Manager for Microsoft Excel (SBFM),you may receive the following error message and you are not able to continue to make a report. Also, you may receive the same error message if you try to perform a What- If analysis using SBFM. CAUSEYou may receive the error message if you installed Microsoft Access version 2.0 after installing the Microsoft Small Business Financial Manager for Microsoft Excel. RESOLUTIONIf you installed Microsoft Access version 2.0 after installing SBFM, run the Setup program for SBFM and choose the Reinstall option of the maintenance mode setup. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available. MORE INFORMATIONThe file, Readme.txt, that is on Disk 1 of the SBFM disks, contains the following information about installing Microsoft Access version 2.0 after installing SBFM:
NOTE: You do not have to uninstall SBFM before installing Microsoft Access
version 2.0 because you can follow the directions in the workaround section
to fix the problem.
