SYMPTOMSIf you create an embedded Microsoft Excel workbook in a Microsoft Word document or in a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation, you may receive the following error message and then you receive the following Dr. Watson for Windows NT error message: After you click OK, Microsoft Excel quits, Microsoft Word or Microsoft PowerPoint becomes unstable, and you must quit the program. CAUSEThis problem occurs if all of the following conditions are true:
WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, eliminate or minimize rotated text in a Microsoft Excel workbook that is embedded in a Microsoft Word document or in a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation. STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem

becomes available.
