SYMPTOMSWhen you create multiple maps in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Data Map remains in random access memory for each map that you create in a workbook. CAUSEMicrosoft Data Map is a single-document program, which means it can use only one set of data at a time. Therefore one instance of Data Map is loaded into memory for each set of data (each map object) that is present in the workbook. MORE INFORMATIONEach time you create a map in Microsoft Excel, system resources are used by the Microsoft Data Map program in memory. This may cause the system to perform more slowly.
