SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel 97 for Windows, when you click Finish in step 4 of the Internet Assistant Wizard, you may receive the following error message: In Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition, you receive the following error message:
CAUSEThis problem occurs if the location that you specify in the File Path box is a read-only location, for example, a folder on a network server. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, specify a location to which you have full access in the File Path box. If you are unable to specify such a location, do either of the following:
STATUSThis behavior is by design of the versions of Microsoft Excel listed at the beginning of this article. MORE INFORMATIONWhen you click Save As HTML on the File menu, the Internet Assistant Wizard appears and guides you through the steps of saving a range in a worksheet as a new Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) file or as a table in an existing HTML file. You must have full access to the location in which you are saving the HTML file. If you do not, you receive one of the error messages in the "Symptoms" section in this article.
