SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition, if you click File on the Insert menu in the Visual Basic Editor, select a file to insert, and then click Open, you may receive the following error message:
CAUSE
This problem occurs if the file that you are inserting has been locked in
the Finder by following these steps:
RESOLUTIONIf you receive the error message that is described in the "Symptoms" section in this article, simply click OK. You can still save changes to the workbook even after you insert the locked file into a Visual Basic module. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
