CAUSE
This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:
-and- -and- -and- -and- NOTE: This problem does not occur if a worksheet is active when you point to Track Changes on the Tools menu and click Highlight Changes. Instead, you receive the following error message: The problem also does not occur if you select a single worksheet instead of two or more worksheets in the Highlight Changes dialog box. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, do not click Highlight Changes on the Tools menu when a chart sheet is active. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. MORE INFORMATION
You can use the Highlight Changes dialog box to highlight changes made to
cells in a shared workbook. These changes include moved or pasted contents
and inserted or removed columns or rows. When you use the Highlight
Changes dialog box, a blue outline and a marker appear around any cell with
the contents that have been changed.
