SYMPTOMSWhen you print a worksheet that contains a colored line to a black and white printer, the line may be printed as a gray pattern; in earlier versions of Microsoft Excel the line is printed as a black line. CAUSEMicrosoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition prints colored lines as grayscale lines to distinguish between black lines and colored lines. WORKAROUNDTo work around this behavior, do either of the following:
