XL: Borders Are Cropped When Printed on HP LaserJet

The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMS

When you print to a Hewlett-Packard (HP) LaserJet printer in Microsoft Excel, the borders may be partially or completely cropped in the printed output.


CAUSE

This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:

  • The worksheet you want to print contains cells with text that is formatted at an angle.

    -and-


  • You insert a page break next to cells with the angled text.

    -and-


  • You print to a HP LaserJet printer.



STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
