SYMPTOMSWhen you rotate text in a cell, the text may not be visible in a worksheet. CAUSE
This behavior occurs if you specify a small angle rotation (between
approximately -5 and 5 degrees, depending on the cell location) and you use
cell borders.
WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, do not use any of the cell borders when you rotate cell text and use very small angles. If you want to use cell borders, increase the angle of rotation (more negative or more positive) so that the slope of the sides of the parallelogram is not as steep. As you increase the angle of the rotated text, the text moves closer to the actual cell location. STATUSThis behavior is by design of Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition. REFERENCESFor more information about rotated text, click Contents and Index on the Help menu, click the Index button in MS Excel Help, type the following text rotating cell dataand then double-click the selected text to go to the "Center, align, indent, or rotate data in a cell" topic.
