SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition, step 2 of the Chart Wizard displays the following message instead of displaying a sample chart: If you click Next, Microsoft Excel displays the same message, and step 2 of Chart Wizard appears again. CAUSE
This behavior occurs when the following conditions are true:

To workaround this behavior, select the chart type that you want the first
time you select a chart when you use the Chart Wizard.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
