MORE INFORMATION
The ability to add a data table to a chart is a new feature in Microsoft
Excel 98. A data table you add to a chart is a grid that contains the
numeric data you used to create the chart. Each row in the data table
represents a data series. The data table is usually attached to the
category axis of the chart and replaces the tick-mark labels on the
category axis.
NOTE: If you activate a chart type that does not support data tables, the button on the Chart toolbar is not available. REFERENCESFor more information about data tables, click Contents And Index on the Help menu (or on the Balloon Help menu if you are using a version of the Macintosh operating system earlier than 8.0), click the Index button in Microsoft Excel Help, type the following text data tables, chartsand then click Show Topics. Select the "Display or hide a data table in a chart" topic and click Go To. If you are unable to find the information you need, ask the Office Assistant. Additional query words: XL98
