SYMPTOMSWhen you click a hyperlink in a Microsoft Excel workbook, the Forward and Back buttons on the Web toolbar may not go forward or backward to the linked items. CAUSEThis problem may occur if you embed a Microsoft Excel workbook in a Microsoft Word document. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available. MORE INFORMATIONIf you have created a linked Microsoft Excel embedded object, this problem does not occur. However, you must activate the linked embedded object to use both the Forward and Back toolbar buttons to go to the links.
