SYMPTOMSMicrosoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition may insert an incorrect formula when you use the Formula AutoCorrect feature. CAUSEThis problem occurs when you use the R1C1 cell reference style in a formula. For example, the following formula =IF(AND(R2C1="a",R3C1="b"),1,0is changed by the Formula AutoCorrect feature to the following formula: =IF(AND(RC21="a",RC31="b"),1,0)NOTE: In the first example formula, the last parenthesis is missing because it causes Excel to use the Formula AutoCorrect feature. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition.
