SYMPTOMSAfter you close the Visual Basic Editor in Microsoft Excel 98, all the toolbars disappear except for the worksheet menu bar, which is not functional. CAUSE
This problem may occur when the following conditions are true:
-and- WORKAROUNDTo prevent this problem from occurring, use either of the following methods. Method 1: Don't Run the Visual Basic Editor and a User Form SimultaneouslyAlways close the Visual Basic Editor before running a user form or close the user form before quitting the Visual Basic Editor.Method 2: Hide Microsoft ExcelFrom Microsoft Excel, click Hide Microsoft Excel on the Application menu.STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition.
