SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition, when using the Template Wizard, you may receive the following error message where <Invalid Reference> represents a range of cells on your worksheet. When you click OK, you receive the following error message: When you click END, the Template Wizard quits. CAUSEThis problem may occur when the following conditions are true:
-and- WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, type only valid references into the Cell boxes. MORE INFORMATIONWhen you type an invalid reference in a Cell box in the "Template Wizard - Step 3 of 5" dialog box, and click Next, you receive the following error message where <Invalid Reference> represents a range of cells on your worksheet. If the Cell box is visible when you click Next, you are returned to the Template Wizard dialog box to correct the invalid reference. However, if the Cell box is not visible when you click Next (because you have clicked the Up or Down buttons previously), you receive the "Run-time error '13': Type mismatch" error described in the "Symptoms" section of this article.
