The "Print in black and white" option in the Page Setup dialog box causes a
chart to print exclusively in black, white, and shades of gray for
all chart series whose patterns use an Automatic setting. To select the
"Print in black and white" option for the active chart, follow these steps:
However, if any series in the chart has been formatted so that its pattern color is not Automatic, that series will not conform to the "Print in black and white" setting. The series will be printed in color if your printer is set to print in color. Additional query words: XL98 grayscale dithering
