MXL5: Worksheet Tabs Do Not Appear at Bottom of Workbook

• Microsoft Excel for the Macintosh, versions 5.0, 5.0a, used with:
  • Mac OS 9

SYMPTOMS

When you open a workbook in Microsoft Excel, the tabs for the worksheets in the workbook are not displayed.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if you are using Mac OS 9.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem:

1. On the File menu, click Print Preview.



2. Click Close in print preview.

STATUS

This problem does not occur in Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition running under Mac OS 9.0. It also does not occur if you are using Microsoft Excel 5.0 under Mac OS 8.6 or earlier.
