Excel: Adding a Series to a Chart with a Macro

SUMMARY

A series can be added to a Microsoft Excel chart through a macro by using the FORMULA command function.

For example, to add a series containing the categories of "a" and "b", the values of 12 and 16, and the plot order number of 1, the following macro command can be used:


   =FORMULA("=SERIES(,{""a"",""b""},{12,16},1)")
