SUMMARY
The Scroll Lock feature in Microsoft Excel versions 2.20, 3.00 and
4.00 allows you to use the arrow keys on the keyboard in the same
manner as the arrows on the scroll bars. When Scroll Lock is turned
on, using an arrow key on the keyboard scrolls the spreadsheet without
moving the active cell. If Scroll Lock is disabled, pressing an arrow
key on the keyboard scrolls you through the spreadsheet and moves the
active cell accordingly.
NOTE: The DataDesk Keyboard is purchased separately from the dealer and does have functions keys. The standard Macintosh Plus Keyboard and the standard Apple Desktop Bus Keyboard (Standard ADB Keyboard) do not have function keys and cannot enable or disable scroll lock.
