To reduce screen redrawing operations in Microsoft Excel versions
2.20, 3.00 and 4.00, you can hide macro sheets even though they are
active. You can do this in one of the three following ways:
Method 1Use the HIDE command function in a macro.Method 2Save the macro sheet in a hidden state. To save a macro sheet so that it remains hidden the next time it is loaded, do the following:
Method 3The following is for Excel versions 3.00 and later only:Save the macro as an add-in macro. Add-in macros function like hidden macros, but do not require a window of their own (eliminating any redrawing of the macro). To save a macro as an add-in:
