Excel: Goto Grayed on Macro Error Dialog

ID: Q67471

The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Excel for the Macintosh, versions 3.0, 4.0

SUMMARY

When a macro error occurs, Microsoft Excel gives you the choice of halting the macro, stepping through the macro, continuing the macro, or going to the cell on the macro sheet where the macro error occurred. The Goto button will be gray (not selectable) if the macro sheet where the error occurred is hidden or is an add-in macro.

If the macro is unhidden before running, Goto will be available in the event of a macro error.
