SUMMARY
In Excel 3.0 and 4.0, to select a single point in a chart, hold down
the COMMAND key and click the point with the mouse.
MORE INFORMATION
Excel 3.0 and 4.0 allow you to select a single point regardless of
how many series are in the chart. If the COMMAND key is not held down,
clicking a single point will highlight the entire series (even if it
is the only series on the chart). When holding down the COMMAND key,
only the point clicked with the mouse is highlighted.
