SUMMARY
By default, Microsoft Excel automatically creates any charts associated
with an imported Lotus worksheet when a 1-2-3 worksheet is opened.

Lotus 1-2-3 charts are part of a worksheet. Microsoft Excel uses a separate
file for charts (unless they're embedded on the worksheet).
To modify the Microsoft EXCEL4.INI or EXCEL5.INI fileIn the EXCEL4.INI, [WK? Settings] section allows you to specify Lotus 1-2-3 worksheet settings.If you want Microsoft Excel to automatically create all associated charts when a you open 1-2-3 worksheet is opened in Microsoft Excel, use the following setting:
