  • Microsoft FrontPage 2000

  • Microsoft PowerPoint 2000


To insert a PowerPoint presentation file into your Web page, follow these steps:
  1. In Microsoft PowerPoint 2000, save your PowerPoint presentation as an HTML file.


  2. Open your presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint.


  3. On the File menu, click Save as Web Page.


  4. In the Save As dialog box, click Web Folders.


  5. Locate the FrontPage Web you want to save to, and select it.


  6. Click Save.


  7. Open your Web page in FrontPage Explorer.


NOTE: When you view your PowerPoint presentation in FrontPage Explorer, you see a gray box. You must preview your page in a browser.

To import the PowerPoint presentation, follow these steps:
  1. Open your Web.


  2. On the File menu, click Import.


  3. Click Add File and then select the PowerPoint .htm file.


  4. Click Add Folder and then select the PowerPoint folder.


  5. Click OK.


When you select Save As Web Page in PowerPoint, a presentation .htm file and a presentation folder are created. To import a PowerPoint presentation into a FrontPage Web, you must import both the file and the folder.
