SYMPTOMSIf you set FrontPage to show documents in hidden directories and you are using shared borders in your Web, the shared border files (Top.htm, Left.htm, Right.htm, and Bottom.htm) appear as unlinked pages in Reports view in FrontPage Explorer. CAUSEAn unlinked page or file is a document that does not have a traceable path back to the home page in your Web. FrontPage Explorer traces this path by following the hyperlink reference (HREF) of the anchor (<A>) tag in the HTML documents in your Web. However, the shared border files are inserted by using table (<TABLE>) tags rather than anchor tags. The files show up as unlinked, because FrontPage Explorer cannot trace a link to the <TABLE> tags. MORE INFORMATION
Although these files appear as unlinked, they function correctly on the
published Web.
