SYMPTOMSWhen you save a form using the Send to database form handler in FrontPage 2000 and then publish the Web to a FrontPage 98 extended server, the following error message may appear in Internet Explorer:
CAUSESome programs are sent as arguments to the server extensions on the Web server during the HTTP publish operation. Versions of FrontPage earlier than version 2000 do not understand the arguments they are sent and thus cannot properly expand the arguments; they also cannot create the application root that allows the data connections to be read.
