The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSIf you open an Office specific file that is stored in a FrontPage web and use the Save As command in the originating Office application to save the file, the default folder location will be a FrontPage specific temporary directory. Microsoft does not recommend that you store files in the FrontPage temporary directory. CAUSEWhen FrontPage opens a file for editing, the file is copied from the web that is open to a temporary directory. The copy in the temporary directory is the one which is edited. MORE INFORMATION
If you choose to save the file (using the Save command, not the Save As command) from the application you are using to edit it, return to FrontPage. The file will be imported back to the original web server. Additional query words: fp2k
